"Flying cars" - coming your way

Ever thought of "Flying cars" coming your way? Even if you have thought of heard of, may be you must not have thought of it arriving very early. Like say in near 2 or 3 years.

Yes, absolutely. In the coming 2 or 3 years, the first ever Flying car will be launched by Massachusetts-based Terrafugia.

Massachusetts-based Terrafugia, has stated that "flying cars" will now become a reality which were hypothetical then.

It is developing two "roadable aircrafts": the Transition, an airplane with fold-up wings which can be driven to the airport, and the TF-X, a consumer-focused "flying car for all of us," which can vertically take off and land in your driveway.
Just like planes and aircrafts, now cars will also be seen in the skies flying. Look at the video below.

This vehicle will be a vertical take off and landing, just like a helicopter. Very simple mechanism to operate, TF-X will be able to take flight without a runway.

Operator or autopilot would learn the technique of flying it just in 5 hours. Tell the car where you want to go and it will take you to that destination, when driven automatically.

The car is still in the concept phase. Terrafugia estimates that development will take eight to 12 years. Regarding the question of price, Terrafugia says is too early to pinpoint. While they say it "will be priced as low as possible," they estimate it will have a price point similar to "very high-end luxury cars."
